Pengon is one line of code you add to your Squarespace site. From then on, every message sent through your site's forms is checked before Squarespace receives it.

What it checks

An AI model reads each message the way you would, and spots the pitches, scams and AI-written outreach that look human. Pengon also checks for the usual signs of a bot: a hidden trap field only bots fill in, throwaway email addresses, and the like. It works alongside Squarespace's own reCAPTCHA, so leave that on.

What happens next

Real messages go through to Squarespace as normal and arrive in your inbox.
Spam is stopped before it reaches Squarespace. The sender sees Squarespace's normal thank-you message, so they can't tell. Every blocked message stays in your dashboard for 90 days, and one click gets a real one back.

If Pengon is ever unreachable

Your form keeps working. If Pengon doesn't answer within a few seconds, the message goes through to Squarespace as normal, so you never lose a real enquiry because of us.
